We are pleased to announce that our Annual General Meeting 2018 will be on Tuesday 10th July at The Link, Bishop Sutton at 8pm. We very much hope to see you there.
This is an important meeting for all parents and carers to attend, as we give an overview of the past year and look forward to the next. An integral part of the AGM is the voting in of the Committee Members. As a charity organisation, the Pre School is unable to function without a Committee, which must include five members (including a Chair, Treasurer and Secretary) at the very least. Without these five members in place the Pre-School would sadly need to close.
Becoming a Committee member means you can help to continue and support the great work of the Pre School and Forest Club staff, providing such high quality childcare in our village, and it’s a great way to meet fellow Pre School parents too! There are plenty of different roles available, from event planning to fundraising, publicity to invoicing, and all members have a voice in shaping policies and best practice for our village Pre-School.
Tradition then dictates a trip to the Red Lion after the AGM for all committee members, new and old, and any parents who wish to join us! What’s not to love?!
